Lets talk about Dermaplaning👇🏻

What is it?
A form of physical exfoliation that removes built-up dead skin cells and vellus hair (aka 🍑 fuzz). This is why the skin feels instantly smoother and looks brighter!

On healthy, resilient skin barriers this can be a beautiful treatment✨

However, if your skin barrier is already impaired (think inflammation, dehydration, acne or redness), removing that outer layer can increase transepidermal water loss, heighten sensitivity and place additional stress on skin that’s already struggling💢
